About me – Aly Sassi
Coach and systemic psychotherapist, I have 20 years of professional experience in different services and institutions in Brussels (mediation/ psychotherapy/ youth work/ mental health).
My systemic approach leads me to consider each person in a “global” way. In my vision, each person is in continuous interaction with its environment and frame of reference/belief/belonging. Each person is subject to his or her own influences and others’s. Each person is influenced by the possibilities/limitations of its system.
Therapy, in my vision, is a space where I work with the “client-system” to better understand its relations and communication and to better explore its internal and external resources in order to face efficiently difficulties (resilience). The therapy allows us to understand a system that in order to move towards a state of well-being.
On this basis, I offer therapeutic support that focuses on emotions and feelings as well as on connections and relationships. Together, we will decode “problem situations”, facilitate communication and understanding of others (synonym of trust) and promote the expression of emotions, the formulation of wishes and the realisation of efforts.
Specialised in the care and support of adults, adolescents, couples and families, I am familiar with working on different topics: communication and emotional management, decision making, life transitions, couple crises, difficult parent-adolescent relationships.
I also facilitate group discussions for adults and teenagers, combining a therapeutic framework, coaching and creativity.

The result
The results vary from one person to another. Therapy allows you to put into words things which will let you draw a line under these problems, or find the causes and explanations which will make you stronger and more able to manage your emotions towards these problems.
Therapy session
What is fascinating in many of our therapy sessions, is the relatively limited time that is needed before the therapists understands your problem and has a clear picture of it. When you come to your consultation session and tell your therapist about your problem, we will first of all consider together how this problem occurs, where it comes from and the impact it has on you and your life
